“According to the ICAEW in 2023, neurodivergent people account for about 20% of the workforce and this figure looks set to grow even further as more people are becoming aware and seeking a diagnosis for themselves. The BBC recently reported that some neurodivergent people are waiting up to 8 years to get a diagnosis before they can even access support that may be available to them. With this in mind it feels like there is an opportunity for businesses to be better equipped in this area and understand the benefits a neurodiverse workforce can deliver.”
